Ne Nebraska | 40 acres, put a pivot in the center you might cover 33 acres. That only gives you 6 inches per acre, in a dry environment that might get you cutting of a feed crop. Your goin to want at least a 200 gal well to run that, I’d say you’ll be well over $200k to make all that happen, that’s $6,000 per irrigated acre not including land cost. Sorry to say but I don’t feel you have an economical project here. | |
