Whitewater, WI | I'm in SE wisconsin so probably behind you in growth. Was out scouting today and found a very very small amount of tar spot on some fields. When I say small, I mean I might have one or two spots on a single plant here and then have to search for another. No rust here, little bit of leaf spot but not enough to worry about. I'm going to keep an eye on the tar spot before deciding what to do. If it stays like this I'll save the fungicide pass. We usually feel the fungicide window closes around labor day so there is still a lot of time left. | |
