NW IL, Mercer County | Whats an expected yield on an “average” year versus a year like this? What about the dry land corners? Those were definitely hard to pick out visually. It’s different to see beautiful flat land with irrigators everywhere. Also cool to see the medians and roadsides with blooming sunflowers. I’m guessing you have a different view on them but sure nice to look at besides corn. Beautiful grain setups for sure. Maybe a wind storm can wipe mine out so I can start over ;)
We have a neighbor that is a supervisor for a pipeline installation company that was staying in York next to the water tower. I think he’s staying near Hastings now for whatever project is going in around there. | |
