| 100% agree here. I don’t know what kind of weather you’ve had but here in NEIN I’ve got ears that probably have 50% pollination and we can call it tassel wrap or whatever nonsense we’re blaming 100* weather and no rain on but the reality is we’re gonna be cheating for 150 bushel corn on 220 aph farms and gonna be selling it for 3.60 a bushel because the have’s two states over this year are gonna try to squeeze another 8 bushel out with a second pass that didn’t really even pay for the trip with equipment and chem costs just to say they did.
We keep doing this crap and the only people making money off that second pass are the retailers, applicators, equipment mfg’s. When are we all going to wake up and realize we’re being fleeced and they aren’t using a guard anymore. I’m just as guilty as anybody else is on this at times.
