Window scouting at 70mph the crops look pretty good. C IA I saw plenty of wet spots in soybeans. Not overly large areas but still damage done. I was surprised to see very very few pivots running in E to C NE. We stayed last Saturday at KOA just south of Grand Island and I counted on both hands how many pivots were running between IA and there. The corn was deep green in NE, the grass along the interstate was lush. I dont know what average looks like but I was expecting more stress on the crops and the roadsides. What I noticed the most is all the new grain bins I can see in NE. Sure looks like alot of them built in the last 5 years and all have legs attached! Wall to wall corn out there with a random soybean or milo field! Kind of neat to see something different!

We had those same visible yellow spots in soybeans last year. Those spots were hurt but the corn fields nearby were more disappointing. Hard to see over 8-10 ft corn versus looking across all bean fields.
