South Central MN | They have a pretty big germination window so once the pre is worn off they come. Get too much rain at the wrong time and they really come.
Sugar beet guys struggle with it since anything that kills waterhemp will kill the beets too. (Waterhemp is obviously immune to roundup.)
Did see one guy running one of those weed zapper things in a field of beets last weekend, since the waterhemp is quite a bit taller than the beets it works quite well from what I could see where he had already done. | |
