Subject: Old Crop Corn Basis

Cen Ks
The merchandiser at Cardinal Ethanol told me back in early June they really don't need corn. He said they were almost full & already had enough booked to get to new crop. He even suggested if we had Corn to move we should check with him before hauling; usually by Friday afternoon they were filled up full..
Instead of .90 - 1.00 over basis , they are .0 - 05.
How wide spread is this?
What are the ethanol plants in Nebraska & western Iowa telling farmers?
