Subject: Tipback in corn. NE Mo

Northeast Missouri
Out scouting crops tonight. Beans are loaded with flowers and pods, just caught another good rain. Cooler temps are here for atleast a week.

Noticing lots of tipback in excellent looking corn. We may still end up with a great crop, but I don’t think it will be near as great as last years bumper crop, even though it sure looks like it from the road. If you haven’t pulled any husks back on your crop, you might be a little disappointed.

Lots of 18-20 x low 30’s in one hybrid, 16-18 x mid 30’s in another hybrid. Planted at ~30,000 the 2nd and 3rd week of May
