Pellet lime is good for one yr and 100% available.
I had a farm with no lime lease and yr to yr with some 3.9-4.5 ph
I put 300-500lbs of pellet lime in some spots, back when it was cheap.
I raised 68 bu beans and 240 corn 24yrs ago.
It did raise the ph after doing it for 5 yrs.
I ended up buying it in 2020.
I then regular limed it.
Would i have been ahead liming it, yes,
but unknown future and limited funds
pellet lime worked.
The regular fert was through the roof because nobody ever limed it


as stated in another post, pellet lime is not an option for this, either full on regular lime the field or you don't qualify
