Yep. Kind of a lashup with the cultivator bracket...I only ever saw 1 or 2 like that. Did it drive off a double pulley on the water pump?
I think the first A/C I ever worked on was a 67 with the compressor mounted on the side bracket, like kb can't seem to get his head wrapped around... ;)
