Don't know what you are saying nope to. 72 the compressor mounted to the engine block casting ears. I think 71 is the same as we had a 71 4320 that had cab and a/c with compressor mounted to block. I assume 71 4020 was the same and I know 72 4020 was. 70 and older they had to do funny things to mount it.
