I won't disagree on a poorly set machine. I struggle getting beans out of tough pods and not overloading the chaffer with probably to much MOG.



I'm running an S670 but in beans I always run a concave insert in the first section anymore. It really helps with tough pods. If you tried it, I guarantee you'd see a difference and like it. Pics show 2 in but that's what I do for wheat just run the 1st one for beans.
