NE Iowa | As the previously post mentioned you just need to put the receivers on a tractor to properly configure the receiver. Set one as a quick survey base, then set your radio channel & radio id. The other still stays set as a vehicle, set the radio channel & ID # to match your base, turn the TCM off, then need to configure the serial port. Serial port settings need to be baud rate 38,400, 10hz output rate, NMEA messages GGA, VTG & GSA turned on. Once the receivers are configured a display is no longer needed. Either display will work fine.
Need an adapter cable from Ag Leader & a cable to power the JD receiver when on a tripod.
Ag Leader PN 4003692-4 Deere to WMC adapter
The power cable for the JD receiver I just make myself which is just power only. JD sells a fancier one that allows you to hook up a JD screen while its on the tripod as well. | |
