| Have had several drill doctors through the years and had the same experience with all of them. Finally figured out that the cam system that rocks the bit as you turn it wears out and then it won’t sharpen properly. I cut the plastic around the stone off of one of the worn out ones and the stone looked like new yet. I use it to hand sharpen bits now. That fine cut diamond stone works much better than a bench grinder. You can put a like new edge on the bits. | |
