North of London | I only wish we had some of your rainfall.
I seem to be in a dry spot this year
Storms split and go north and south of me
One day I was sure we would get a good rain by radar, started raining and almost got cement wet and quit so checked radar again and the shower had just shrunk away and never quite got to me.
that is the way rains go in summer with showers popping up and disappearing, someone gets too much and someone else gets nothing.
It can be a difference from front to back of farm.
Storm that hit Mitchell gave me 16mm ,next door neighbour got 19 and 1 road north got 28
Met with a couple friends for coffee yesterday
1 lives just south of Mitchell and although he did not have any wind damage was without hydro for 2 days and he got 6mm of rain
Other one lives half way between me and Mitchell and he got 8mm
