When will you terminate the rye is probably a big question as to whether it will tie up the N and some of the S. If it’s early on and you spread AMS you’ll probably be fine. But if you like to let it get 4 feet tall and expect it to be there I’d say no. If I was going to terminate the rye right after planting I’d add in ATS to the burndown and save a pass across the field with a spreader. About the only way I can see the rye not taking up all your nutrients if it’s left to grow
