SW OH | It should snap going both ways. It should take some effort to make it snap. To adjust it, pry the cover off of the end of the pulley. Under that cover are 3 bolts with castle nuts and cotter keys. They should be adjusted evenly. I suspect 1 bolt is tighter than the other 2. When disengaged they should be loose. Slowly engage the clutch and make sure they all get tight at the same point. The pulley should not spin when disengaged. Do not let the engine run more than a few minutes without the clutch engaged. It will starve a bearing for oil.
