IN | Single tank machine…tassels were just over the top of the cab. I thought it was outpacing all the other corn all year long and that it would eventually stop but it just kept going. I’m glad there is a tree line protecting it or it would be a mess with 25mph breezes. I think the tree line/woods kept it warmer at night and conserved moisture so it kept growing long into the night. I estimate it’s about 15 feet tall. Need to take a tape to it to see. Same variety planted on the other side of the ditch is maybe 11 feet tall so definitely an oddity. Brevant 11C37AM is the variety. I sure don’t want corn that tall! | |
