The nephews bought 2 semi tractors with the exhaust exiting under the trucks. So they bought chrome stacks and the correct brackets to mount them. My question: Do I mount the stack directly to the bracket with the clamps? Or should there be a heat resistant "belt or strap" between the steel bracket and the chrome pipe? If so where do I get that "strap"?
