Michigan | I used the IHLE kit on my 2166. It's good (and easier) to do this job before your original auger bed gets too worn. I removed the augers and I also had the rotor and concave out at the time for some other work.
An air hammer with a roll pin driver makes short work of getting the bevel gear off the rear of the augers. If you need new wood block bearings on the front, be aware the quality on those seems to really have gone downhill. I bought a chunk of UHMWA poly and cut my own blocks with a bandsaw and a hole saw. | |
