Thanks for explanation. I understand that. Back once upon a time I would have trouble with the old DickeyJohn radars & spray drift, or even dust which would effect speed readout, therefore affecting spray rate. Same with some early Norac boom height sonar units. Dust or drift coming back on the boom would cause booms to raise when you weren't looking.
So, for clarification, if I were to spray with a drone (someday!) flying with some type of crosswind might be more advisable?
Also, can you tell me how spray rate is controlled vs ground speed? I see I have 2 differing replies above, but maybe it varies with equipment & software? If they use flowmeters, they must be tiny.
