East Central Nebraska | I had the exact same questions and thoughts. I got all my corn planted by the 20th of April and some starting to dent. Seeing some southern rust but not bad and not at the ear leaf yet. But it is expanding. I hate to waste $20/acre and not gain a thing and I don't see corn pricing rising. So far this might be my best crop ever. Probably 40-60 above APH. We will have a better idea soon. I do have a drone lined up to spray a few acres early next week, but thinking I might have him apply it on a couple soybean fields instead. | |
