NE Ohio | Growing up I always heard the story how the whole family was away at a Friday night football game to watch my uncle play. Someone came and kicked in their unlocked door.
My house got broken into on the last day of my honeymoon. My mom called and said she noticed the garage door was partly up. My house was locked. Luckily / Unluckily I had completely gutted the house remodeling it. I got a damaged garage door, damaged sliding patio door, demolished garage man door, and demolished basement man door, all of which were brand new. Garage was full of new kitchen cabinets, didn't find out until about a month later when I was installing the cabinets that there were some missing. Lots a few tools as well. The cost of replacing new doors again was just added insult to injury. If they weren't locked I may not have had to replace them. | |
