Waldron, MI | The drones speed is calculated using GPS. A head wind or tail wind just makes the drone work harder or less to maintain ground speed.
You're correct in that spraying into the wind rather than across should provide a better pattern but it will also narrow the spray width. In perfectly calm conditions you can spray wider than with a slight breeze and with a moderate wind it's even narrower. I won't spray in over 5-10 MPH winds with the drone. | |
