One of reasons I like to spray as much as possible with our own rig so we can scout, identify, and rectify issues before they get out of hand.

So today I was spraying foliar fert on baby limas and noticed we had quite a bit of palmer amaranth (round up resistant) so each time I identified a palmer I would stop and pull it to remove it from the field. Probably pulled 30 plants or so.

However, there was also some red root pigweed (round up will kill it) in the field. I can tell the difference between the 2 species but I wonder if we had a drone spray the field and scout would it be able to tell the difference between the species? or is the tech not at that level yet?
