Had  drone guy at a meeting we held two years ago where he shared just that process (in a slide presentation not actual). He sends a drone out to photograph the field. He plugs the photos into a recognition program that identifies the weeds and then feeds that data to the drone to spot spray the next day. The technology was quite impressive!
