DH puts a live trap near the hole where the flies come in and go out, and throws an old heavy tarp over top of it so that it's dark inside it. Bait with a little apple ^^DH says only vegetable material^^ or other known attractant and usually will have a trap full of flies by morning. Then the live trap converts to an unalive trap.
