The RCM2 does communicate on a higher baud rate than the RCM1 does, which could be a positive plus sometimes the RCM1 does have a problem with the CAN signal on 24 rows and needs a CAN repeater installed. However you can not mix and match the two so if you wanted to go with the RCM2 then you would need 24 RCM2's not just 12 plus you would need to switch the from the PCM to the PCM2 and change the cabling cause the RCM2 goes from using the IBBC connection back to Ag Leaders CAN bulkhead to be able to handle the higher baud rate. So if you decided to go with the RCM2 the only thing you would reuse is the electric drive motors everything else would be new.
