| Tried the same question over in Cafe but didn’t get any hits so I thought I’d try it here once. I was at a wedding in Billings a couple weeks ago and as farmers tend to do I drove around the backroads to see the local crops and farms. Saw a lot of nice irrigated corn and alfalfa around Billings, Laurel and Red Lodge. Is that mostly for feed or is some of the corn combined for grain? What are typical yields for irrigated crops in that area? Thanks | |
