I really think you need to experience driving a Tesla. Even though some are capable of impressive acceleration, it is very hard to coax one into "breaking free" as you call it.
The best part is; test drives are available at no charge at the Tesla showrooms and most Tesla owners, me included, would be happy to ride and drive with you as you see what an electric car brings to the driving experience.



Exactly. It is called traction control and stability control. As a matter of fact, it is a complaint of some of the crazy kids out there that want a Tesla for the power and acceleration and can't get them to "drift".
