| This is in reply about the metro in 2023 being unsafe. I was concerned about the same thing before going this summer. We never experienced anything like that so I ask someone that i knew that has lived in DC for 4 years. He said when he first got there things were worse had a unsafe feel especially at night. He said something changed about a year and a half ago and the whole area has really improved. We saw very few street people anywhere especially near whitehouse/capitol/mall area. There was also a very strong presence of law enforcement. Everyone was very friendly and helpful my family and I had a wonderful experience. | |
