Your radio problem sounds like crappy, buggy software.
As for all the complaints about the tech... Now apply that thought process toward tractor history. Did your daddy or granddaddy say that about cabs, air conditioning, nice seat suspension, electric shifting, etc? Probably. Are you willing to give it up for an open station 4020 without all that stuff? Heck no. All new tech will go through a period of bugs needing to be worked out of it. But inevitably none of us want to live without it.
One can successfully argue the first cabs were echoboxes.
One can also argue with the first cabs with AC if the AC goes out one can open all the windows to solve the problem temporarily.
As someone who is fighting electrical issues for shifting currently, I'd rather have a cable or linkages.
As for the open station 4020, wait for someone to ask about a loader tractor on here. You will find...
