It brake checks itself a lot when you come to a curve with a sign on the outside of the curve.
Apparently they've still not fixed that feature. 2016 Yukon SLT did that, no option for operator to disable the adaptive cruise for regular cruise. That one, no cruise if snowing or raining as the camera would be "obstructed" and so it could not see for you.
When I bought my 19 F350, being able to disable adaptive cruise was a requirement. Also glad the collision assist had a selectable setting (as in "off").
