Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning. | Tesla drivers call that, "Phantom Braking". It happens to many of the vehicles with autonomous emergency braking. Toyota, Chevy, Hyundai, and I'm sure there are more.
It even happened to one of the robo-taxis being shown off in Austin recently. On my car, it has gotten better but it's still there and it is dangerous, IMHO. I agree it should be fixed by now. |
