Weber. Hands down. I have been down the road of buying a cheap one every four or five years and then rinse and repeat. We also bought a rather expensive grill maybe 20 years ago. The name of it escapes me now. It worked great but when it started needing parts it was like buying the grill again. Super expensive. A couple of the cheap grills we bought were Kenmore from Sears. The grills worked fine but the burners, grates, etc wore out pretty quickly. Parts were available but were priced so that it made no sense to fix it. We've had our Weber Genesis close to 10 years and it has been trouble free. I have looked to see what replacement parts cost and they are very reasonable and available at any number of places locally. You will never be sorry that you bought a Weber. The up front price is a little hard to stomach but it is worth it. Like someone else said, buy a used one off of Market Place and rebuild it. I'll bet you can have a pretty nice grill for $300 or $400 when done. If you really want to do charcoal as well I would just buy a Weber Kettle to go along with it.
