| That is a tough one. 60 years ago my Dad told the Pastor to quit mowing an extremely steep bank with a very early Cub Cadet. He didn't listen. Pastor flipped it and got half his hand cut off. He wasn't too proud to admit he thought he knew more than an old farmer and that he should have listened.
My Grandfather was at a forage harvester demo and the factory rep plugged it. Of course he was embarrassed and without thinking he reached into the cutter head while it was still turning. Grandpa grabbed his hand and prevented a read tragedy. The guy thanked grandpa profusely in front of everyone and acknowledged the danger of machinery and it isn't just the "other guy". Sometimes it is the instructor.
Most of the time they resent you and think you should keep your nose in your own business. If it looks really hairy get out and start yelling like I did when my neighbors kids had a kite wrapped up in a power line. | |
