East Central Arkansas | Do you have them where you live? I forgot to put Deet around my ankles for a couple of days. I have been spraying around ankles and the sides of my bibs where they button. Not for sure where I picked these up. Normally get them walking through areas with tall grown up grass or other grown up areas. Berry vines and picking them is a known way to get eat up with them. Mounted a weed wiper on a 4 wheeler on year to run between trees I had planted. I never thought about getting chiggers riding that four wheeler but they really got me. I bet I will remember to spray for a few days while getting in areas they might be. I did spray some Bifen in some of the yard today even though that's not likely where they got on me. Figured if they were bad in other areas probably bad in yard also. | |
