I saw a documentary a year or two back where farmer's market sellers were buying wholesale tomatoes, taking them home and wetting them down with muddy water and letting them dry. Then reselling at farmer's markets as fresh picked this morning right out of the field. Didn't see a single Amish person in the whole show.
