My kids and step kids are all in school and have no interest in doing anything around the farm. There's a huge difference in feeding them and them wasting gas like it's toilet paper. If they want to be able to do stuff and run around they work in town so they can pay for it.My step son just learned a huge lesson about what can happen when you're out just running around and get in the wrong place,he had over $2000 worth of stuff stolen out of his car when he was hanging around with the wrong crowd. He lost his laptop he uses for school,an Xbox gaming system and his 32 Gig Ipod plus some other stuff.Maybe I'm too tough on them but it's better than handing them everything and them not learning the value of what everything costs and how much work it takes to pay for everything.
