I don't really like the hitch on the Bushhog.
Are you referring to the hitch design that looks like this? My 2615L has this style, and it's pretty much perfect. Relatively easy to hitch up to, and the weight is well-born by the drawbar without twisting or binding.
Yes that is the hitch. It would probably be ok if it was thicker. Mine gets "tweaked" and makes it harder to hook up. Supposed to use a bolt to connect to the drawbar and that might keep it from bending. But no one likes to carry big wrenches or sockets. And I always bend the grade 8 bolt so it is hard to remove.
Right now my Bushhog has a homemade pin with a lynch pin to secure it. Last time I went to unhook it, I needed a hammer to remove the lynch pin.
I've also busted out the end plates on the swivel behind that hitch. Did I mention that I abuse my batwings?
