Central Kansas | The ‘seed” some see in warts is actually a tiny blood vessel. These warts are caused by HPV so are transmissible. Home remedies sometimes work and they often disappear on their own. If home remedies do not work and you have some pain and bleeding, it would be advisable to see a dermatologist. As for treatment, salysilic acid products sometimes work as well as a liquid nitrogen product for freezing them at home…maybe has a name like “wart away”. Abrasion with a special pumice stone has some reported success. | |
