December 03 was when Mad Cow hit the U.S.. I took a load of boxed beef to Long Beach for export I unloaded Monday I think the news broke the next day. I always wondered if that load made it to Japan.
I made a recording of the closing grain bids for UFC that night. Bob White's voice saying "Mad Cow disease has been identified, UFC is out of the market until after opening bell tomorrow".
