Our fridge and cooktop (gas) are 18 year old KitchenAid; the double oven is a little newer as a lighting strike got us a new set maybe 10-12 years ago. So I really can't speak to the newer models or the reliability of them now, but we've certainly been pleased with the quality of what we have.  Have had no service calls on any of the units, only change the filter in the fridge. I know they're all gonna die soon and I want to think that the brand still carries that quality, but I'm leery.
