Malta, Illinois | Since the architect got taken care of separately that seems a bit out of line. I would ask for an itemized accounting of his expenses and time and just tell him you think it is a. bit out of line. He is probably a little ticked that you selected someone else and feels like he helped you design a house for someone else to build. Talk to him and see what he says. Like the other poster said he might slap a mechanic's lien on you if you try to stiff him. You owe him something, just not sure how much. Frankly, I am surprised that the bill for the architect was not higher. | |
