Read your verbiage but not watching inane videos. One uncle who just turned 80 had the "pleasure" of being a crew chief on a chopper in Vietnam in '69+. He flew many, many night missions and experienced a lot in the air. He was 23 and had gotten married before his play card was pulled so not a kid anymore when he was sent over. He said the drug use was out of control over there and went way beyond smoking joints so if people saw "demons" im sure they were convinced they did. He did not experience that drug infused world but said it screwed up many young men and created all kinds of weird stories.
In reply to your inane statements...
I agree that drugs were a problem in Nam. But if you had actually watched the 2nd video, you would have known that the problem went away when the original red tinted night vision was replaced with green tinted. There was something about the chemical used to coat the lens that was leading to that phenomena and it has been replicated fairly recently by someone who was suspicious of those stories.
So if drug use caused it, how would you explain why it stopped when they switched to the green ones?
And BTW, based on the last reply you made to one of my posts, please stay away from any powered equipment and/or vehicles today in your current state of befuddlement. LOL!! ;) |
