Our state is well regulated to allow burning and if we want to keep the burn tool in our toolbox then we follow the rules. It is an important tool for us. We have been called in for burning after the fire hours are over. Fortunately the state DOE was in the area and called us up and they could see our fire and said we were okay because because we were in a different county with different burn hours so all was fine. That kept it from being turned into an investigation. Some people have no idea where the county line is.

I respect the fire fighters as they put time in their life to help in the community as volunteer fire fighters.

Here is one across our county that started after 5 pm yesterday. It has gotten into range canyons with the wind so state resources have been called in. Hopefully the wind dies down. As your can see lots of wind turbines in the area as they are in the breaks of some deep canyons.

That was started as a controlled burn? Who does that in July?
