Malta, Illinois | I don't really think it is the trade war that is pressuring operations. It surely isn't helping but this is an issue that has been building for a while now. I talked with an accountant and a representative with a big auction company and both said they are seeing more forced liquidations this fall and winter than they have for quite some time. Banks are shutting off the tap and saying "no more". The big issue is high cash rents and too many capital purchases. Hard to blame any of that on the trade war. | |
