I kept around 100 head on feed for a long time. Both raised and purchased. When feeders crossed $2 in 2014, and I lost the two biggest calves in the lot, everything went to town and I've backgrounded my own ever since. I made money feeding a few cattle, but I also wore out of lot of equipment and body.
Can we sell our way out of this mess?
