Subject: little is a true farmer in the making

Willamette Valley Oregon
My daughter during harvest, had to be a part of harvest. First day she was in Bankout tractor with me and after one time bouncing off the window and controls she started moving with the tractor and had her sea legs. First day she rode 10am to 5pm when I made everyone figure out how to dump without the bank out and took her inside to give her a well deserved break before she could melt down. 13/16 of that time I was listening to baby shark shark.

But I hope she wants to keep farming when she's older. I dont think with how farming communities used to be when I was a kid it was insane to have woman farmers. I have the idea that the job sucks, we do it because we like the life style and anyone who wants to do a ****ty job for little pay is welcome to jump in. So I hope I foster some strong happy memories. Mine where of wanting to get out of farming as a kid and I went to the tech field...life happened and I re found my love of farming and wouldnt wish that on anyone, but a roboticist who likes tractors and old cars... that would have been something. Anyway here are some photos.
