Malta, Illinois | There is some really good weather for fill coming up in a week or two but in the meantime the heat and excessive humidity are not great for pollination and immediately following. Warm nights above 70 are not a good thing right now. I'm not saying all is lost and the crop is a shambles. I'm just saying the current weather could be problematic. Disease pressure is likely to be higher as well. | |
